LINDSAY HEATHER PEARCE
BIO
Lindsay Pearce currently plays Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway. In 2011, Lindsay made her television debut in the world premiere of The Glee Project. She went on to guest star in two major episodes on FOX’s hit show Glee, releasing two chart topping songs, as well as a Christmas single.
From there, she played Kathy in the San Antonio, TX regional premiere of The Last Five Years. After, she played Wendla Bergman in the Los Angeles regional premiere of Spring Awakening. Lindsay went on to be a part of the 2013 Los Angeles revival of Bare: A Pop Opera. Her performance earned her BroadwayWorlds “Best Leading Actress in a Musical” award. She then starred in the critically acclaimed For The Record: BAZ, For The Record: Tarantino, and For The Record: The Brat Pack. She was also seen in American Idiot at the Vortex in downtown Los Angeles, as well as Almost Famous: Live at the historic Troubadour. She has had the privilege of playing many a Shakespeare heroine, ranging from Juliet to Lady Macbeth.
Lindsay has played opposite Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey in ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, Lex Medlin in Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva, and was a heavily recurring guest star on FreeForm’s drama Recovery Road. She went on to share the screen with Kevin Hart and Kaley Cuoco in Sony’s The Wedding Ringer.
Lindsay grew up in Northern California, and attended Modesto Junior College where she studied classical voice, Shakespeare, movement for the stage and English literature. She worked extensively in regional theaters throughout the Bay Area before moving to Los Angeles. There she studied voice and drama in the studios of Maiya Sykes, Rachel Lawrence Douglas, Kathy Deitche, and Sarah Mornell.
