Kelli Barrett
BIO
A Broadway veteran of 14 years, Kelli Barrett recently starred as 'Liza Minelli' in the award-winning FX series "Fosse/Verdon" opposite Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams. Broadway credits include: 'Lara Guishar' in "Dr. Zhivago", 'Gwen Cavendish' in "The Royal Family", 'Nessa' in "Wicked", 'Mary-Jane' in "Baby It's You" and 'Danni' in "Gettin The Band Back Together". She originated the role of 'Sherrie' helping to develop "Rock of Ages" Off-Broadway back in 2007 and she's worked with just about every major director and composer in countless pre-Broadway workshops/productions to develop other shows you know and love today. Her favorite experience was playing 'Eliza Doolittle' in the Bay Street production of Michael Arden's "My Fair Lady". No stranger to film and TV, she's accrued over 2 dozen primetime credits and is a member of the Marvel Universe ('Maria Castle' in "The Punisher") and can be seen as the titular character 'Emma' in the newly released Streaming Musicals production. Watch for her upcoming turn on the hit Apple show "Dickinson".
In addition to performing, Kelli is a published writer, director, and coach. She loves to travel the country teaching master classes and performing with her husband (Tony- Nominated Jarrod Spector) in their award-winning cabarets. Their last show "Look At It My Way" aired on PBS as part of Season 3 of The Kate series.
Her coaching style utilizes her understanding of all mediums and is geared toward body/mind/soul integration. She aims to help bring your authentic self forward while seeing immediate strides in your technique and abilities.
